If she did it during the rape... I know that this guy who was having a family gathering had a 5 year old daughter and he couldn't find her. He ended up looking for her frantically and heard her screaming in the shed. He opened it up and his cousin was literally raping his daughter. He beat him to death, and got off. Didn't get in trouble.

It is no longer self defense after the fact. This is not asking if it's justifiable for her to kill him in defending herself during an attack. This is asking if it should be legal for her to murder him at any point in time simply because she has been raped by her lover, which can be a very broad thing.

After all, a couple that has sex while they're both drunk has technically had a rape committed. And if it were legal to kill him with no repercussions because he raped her...

If it was self-defense that happened either during or immediately after the rape, then that's self-defense. But two separate wrongs don't make it right.
