Should it be illegal to knowingly befriend a criminal?

This is entirely hypothetical. I don't have any friends who are criminals.

It depends on if they are done with their sentence. Befriend a Former criminal if you want. Remorseful ones could use support. If someone goes out and commits a crime with a criminal that should be illegal but befriending a criminal should not. I would consider befriending a criminal bad taste but it should not be illegal.reply

UndecidedI almost think it should be illegal to befriend someone like a pedophile, rapist or murderer, but, apart from that, we definitely should be allowed to befriend whoever we want.reply
