Should In-N-Out Have Veggie Burger?

According to the Huffington Post, Ari Solomon is calling for the Southern California institution to offer veggie burgers for vegetarians who miss eating at In-N-Out, in a Change.org petition. According to Solomon, "the petition is in response to a hidden camera investigation that revealed an In-N-Out beef supplier was abusing cows." What do you think? Should In-N-Out mess with their 'simple' menu to satisfy vegetarians?

Here is a thought for you food nazis.....IF being a vegi-Whatever is sooo bloody wonderful that you feel you need to ruin the appetites of regular people.....has any of your Mentally Enfeebled tofu eaters thought about opening your OWN diner featuring ALL meatless dishes including veggie burgers.....I want to see how many weeks such an enterprise would stay open

I agree with you. If I went to a burger joint and someone handed me a veggie burger, I'd freak! We had a friend that went to a place and had the turkey burger because he thought it would be more healthy. Then he found out it had twice as much sodium as a regular burger.... just to make it edible.

By 'veggie burger', I assume you mean vegetarian burger patty--like BocaBurger, as an example? Yes. I am an avid carnivore, but every once in a while I want a veggie burger--although they are animal free, they still taste pretty good, and the fiber[roughage] is easily obtained in the form of a great-tasting burger. It will only add business for In-N-Out. It's a win-win business move. How can a drive-through have a secret menu?

It'd be pretty convinient if most burger places had veggie burgers. Since my parents don't really care about my picky eating, they'll go to burger places all the time. It's really frustrating and a little uncomfortable explaing to the person that you want everything that goes on a hamburger, but WITHOUT the actual hamburger.

I don't have any of these places near me, but this would be a no-brainer in the Southern California area. Choices are always good. Also, they should not be abusing cows, if they or their suppilers are.

There are many more vegetarians then there were a few years back if resturants want to make more money then that would be a good idea. Burger king does this I would know cause imma vegetarian and do u guys even know the difference between vegan and vegetarians , then stop arguing if u don't know what u are talking about

In-N-Out should be the exclusive province for those wishing to morph their stomachs into cow cemeteries. The vegetarians are enjoined to eat grass! There's plenty of it on the medians separating the lanes of the interstates, and it always needs trimming.

keep it simple... In n Out does burgers, if you don't eat meat, go elsewhere!!! plenty of places have enough options to satisfy every eating style, this isn't one of them.
you wouldn't ask a vegetarian restaurant to start serving beef and chicken to make omnivores happy now would you??? chew on that!!!

i vote yes because some people are vegetarian so i think every fast food shop should have a vegetarian meal.
OR JUST OPEN YOUR OWN SHOP AND SAY THERE IS NO VEGETARIAN MEALS AS A SIGN ON THE SHOP window .

Of course this would be in California, the state that feels it must manage every aspect of personal lives and private business. If you don't like what a business serves/provides, go somewhere else, or open your own business if you feel the product is in demand!

I think all fast-food burger places should have a veggie burger. I wouldn't force them, but it just seems like a good idea to me, all things considered. I don't know In-N-Out (Never been there, only heard of it on the internet, and I assume that it doesn't really operate in my country) so I don't know their current options for vegetarians, but...

(By the way, I'm not a vegetarian. I love meat way too much. But I know quite a few of them who do it or have done it for various reasons.)
