According to the Huffington Post, Ari Solomon is calling for the Southern California institution to offer veggie burgers for vegetarians who miss eating at In-N-Out, in a Change.org petition. According to Solomon, "the petition is in response to a hidden camera investigation that revealed an In-N-Out beef supplier was abusing cows." What do you think? Should In-N-Out mess with their 'simple' menu to satisfy vegetarians?

It seems almost sacrosanct to mess with In-N-Out's long-established (secret) menu, but one Angeleno is fighting for reform.

Balladeer-PWCM-POTL 2012/09/01 04:42:18No+66Here is a thought for you food nazis.....IF being a vegi-Whatever is sooo bloody wonderful that you feel you need to ruin the appetites of regular people.....has any of your Mentally Enfeebled tofu eaters thought about opening your OWN diner featuring ALL meatless dishes including veggie burgers.....I want to see how many weeks such an enterprise would stay open

FWIW, I'm one of those avid meat eaters who'd love to find practical and tasty alternatives for various economic, health and environmental concerns. Gimme a good alternative and I'll jump on it.
ROFLOL!
I think it'd be easier if you just sent me the recipe or the name of the product. :-)
Didn't we already have a discussion about the Secret Menus? Derp.
If In-N-Out saw there is a profit in the market than let the company decide.
Also don't know how having a veggie burger on the menu stops cow abuse, but go figure. lol.
Freshly made veggie burgers composed of grains and vegetables often have a high protein content and are delicious, but the frozen variety? Meh. Fast food places will only sell the frozen stuff. The best veggie burger can be made at home in the kitchen or at a decent eatery.
In no way is any veggie burger served at In-and-Out going to have any real benefit other than it isn't meat. LOL.
Give me animal protein over veggie burgers any day.
