I got an email in my email that my sodahead account is attached to, saying that there was a suspicious log-in attempt by sodahead, trying to hack my account.
Should I delete my sodahead account?

Change you password and that should take care of it.

You should have anti virus software though. My last three virus attacks on my computer came from sodahead.

I couldn't tell you honestly... have no idea. After my horrible experience with the iphone and apples indifference apple products aren't even allowed in this house. I hear that they used to be great but now hackers are targeting apples because everyone was saying it couldn't be done... so watch out...

No, but try to change your password first. If it continues then delete your account.

Go the the "Contact Us" section under "Help" at the bottom of the page. Report what you found in the email and they will try to help you.

I've had similar messages on other sites which were in fact actually attempts to hack into my accounts. It depends on the source. One of them said something like: Your internet provider has detected viruses that need to be removed. Click here to correct the problem, etc. etc. Really? My "internet provider" isn't even identifyng itself by name? Oh, sure.
Another tactic is to threaten you with shutdown or prosecution if you don't comply - to which I responded "Go ahead. Make my day!"

Because as the blond girl said... it should contain at least 8 characters and one capital.

I trust SH to mask genuine locations and IPs. SH opinion exchange is truly anonymous communication, I hope. If this is incorrect, please prove it and submit your evidence to SH with a request that they openly admit that they reveal identifying info to outside entities, if ft they do.

If you keep getting hacked changed your password there is no way they can break into your email. But it's your choice.

You could, but I think it'd be easier just to change your password to something long-ish.

Pretty common and obvious Phishing attempt, same happens on my Formspring account. Ignore the emails, NEVER log in from them, but maybe change your password.
