Of course not, are you kidding me? Homosexuality isn't a choice, is a part of the person in question. And even if it was a choice, why should the law interfere with someone's love? It doesn't hurt anyone and it'll never be nearly as bad as prejudice!

All of us sin one way or another, but God lets us make choices, even if they're wrong choices. Its up to us to choose. At the same time,He tells us we are not to sin, but still lets us choose. There are consequences when we sin...those consequences always lead to some form of trouble. God didn't bring about those troubles, as we have a choice...we are the culpets to our troubles. If we would only learn to listen to him in the first place, we would not be sinning, nor would we end up with troubles. That's why he sets laws down...not to hurt us, but to help us so that we are happy. When we break the laws of God, we break ourselves...sooner or later.

HECK NO !!! Honestly! Everybody just needs to get it through their heads that homosexuality isn't a choice but a sexual orientation that one can be born with, and seriously, going to prison because of who you are, something that can't be changed no matter what, is absolutely RIDICULOUS !!!!!

Why do we so easily buy into the Authoritarian LIE that govt should be able to tell us what we can and cannot do? Govt should BUTT OUT of EVERY area of our lives. It has ONE JOB ONLY: To protect us from foreign govts who send soldiers onto American soil.

Honestly, why does this question even need answering? What time are we living in if these questions need to be asked? If people on Sodahead are gonna keep asking these stupid questions in which the answer is so obvious I'm not going to even bother coming onto this website anymore. I came onto Sodahead to discuss important current issues, not issues that have been solved for 40 years. What's next on SH? Should blacks have civil rights?

I don't think you can outlaw something that comes naturally to some people. Besides, people will do what they are going to do. It would be like telling someone not to breathe or not to eat. Just can't and shouldn't be done.

On personal level I think homosexuality is disgusting, but a lot of things people do are disgusting yet must be tolerated because of individual liberty.

Outlawing a human behavior between two adults in the the privacy of their home does not serve or protect society and gives too much power to the government. Unlike Liberals, I do not believe the government is the answer for everything and nor do I believe everything I disagree with should be banned. The government does not belong in our bedrooms.

Like which countries cause I'm in Africa too. But I know it's illegal in Saudi Arabia and some neighbouring countries and it's not surprising cause those countries are ruled over by preposterous religion.

I can't believe anyone would think it should be illegal. Legal or not it will exist. It's not a choice for most people some may be bisexual but most people are not.

Quite the contrary, I think bigotry, acted out to harm others or deprive them of equal rights, should be illegal. In fact it already is, in the Constitution of the US. It's just taking us a very long time to actually live up to those lofty words.
