    can't OD, not addictive, medical properties etc. It should be legalised. it's safer than alcohol tbh.

    It's been my understanding that cannabis was made illegal under false pretenses, one of the going points of misinformation of the time was that an African or Hispanic man under the effects of the drug would be more likely to rape and/or kill white women. Classic fear-mongering if you ask me, brought about supposedly by the cotton industry to help push support for prohibition because hemp is a more versatile than cotton.
