Should couples be banned from adopting children overseas?

Its the couples' decision and their child. People should be happy they're giving a child a home instead of worrying about where the child came from. Smh people these days.

But i think it should be advised to adopt from your own country. Only because i don't see how we can help other countries, which is a really good thing that i support, when we have so many problems here. We have hundreds of thousands of kids that need to be adopted here. And i know this is a bit off topic, but it always upsets me when u see the statistics of adoptions. Like how rarely kids that have medical problems, autism, and other things not being adopted. Just breaks my heart. And here's a statistic for ya: 10% of children are gay... 20% of orphans are gay.... Something is wrong there! And then you have a few million gay couples who consider adopting - but aren't aloud. But stop and think.... a few thousand orphans.. a few million gay couples.... HMMM... maybe every kid in the US could have a family?! just an idea.
Anyways i'm ranting.....
But hey anyone who adopts a child from anywhere on the globe has my thumbs up! every child deserves a family.

Well it's so ridiculously hard to adopt a child in the USA everyone I know has turned to Asia and other countries... It's sad, but that's the political nightmare of the USA..

Yea... If gay couples were aloud to adopt, statistically, and if they adopted just in the US, then every child in the US could have a family. Also the average gay parent is a better parent then the average straight parent lol. You're smart lmao.

The words, "National, " and "international," reflect artificial bounderies. Any child needing help should go wherever they will be helped.

Waiting list for adoptions in the US are already about 10 years long or so. Sadly, most people who want to adopt are trying to adopt newborns, so it won't really help the older children who need homes, and it just makes waiting lists longer.

I think it's too bad given how many kids there are in the US who need loving homes, but there are many worldwide too.

They should look within the US first then if necessary go overseas

No, but it should be simpler to adopt children from the US. If the parents give up the child they should not be able to change their mind later.

But there are so may children needing a home on our own shores, that should be given consideration.

This is a tough one. We should be taking care of American children who need adopted first.
