    I tell you what, when paddling was allowed the kids had more respect and fear for the teachers and it was easier to control the class. Now I think it should be administered not by the teacher involved but by a 3rd party with another teacher as a witness.

    you do realize that your spelling doesn't help and anyone take you seriously right? Neither do your temper tantrums. I would go to a shrink if I were you, for my children's sake.

    Hell, my next door neighbor had the right to tear my arse up if she saw me cutting the fool. I made the mistake of telling on her. Two whippings in one day..... not good but kept my arse out of jail I wouldn't change a thing.

    I'm pro corporal punishment. I was raised that way, I'm glad I was! And it would sure help a lot of the undiciplined, unruly kids today.

    I know that is the way I grew up & it made me one heck of a great person, because it kept me in line. I knew there were limits & a price to paid for overstepping those boundaries. I will always believe that has made me better & I am thankful my Mom raised me that way.

    When corporal punishment was allowed we didn't have half the problems we have today because the kids had real consequenses for their actions to face. We knew our boundaries and we respected the teachers more than we do now. Kids today do not respect their teachers and do whatever they want because they know they can't do anything about it. However, parental involvement in the school was a lot better then than it is now so it is a toss up between whether parental involvement with the school or corporal punishment was the reasons. I believe if it was brought back the school system would become better but it would have to have a lot of rules and regulations on its application. For example if a girl was to be paddled I personally believe that it should be done by a female teacher and a female witness.

    NO. That's a terrible idea. I was raised without anyone laying a hand on me or hitting me with any sort of object for punishment, not even my own mother, and I believe I turned out perfectly fine.

    you did. I can believe that. The pro spankers I can't believe, because the moment you disagree with them they throw f bombs. How disciplined. Right? Not to mention their spelling disapline, or deisipline. Everything but discipline. LMAO.

    It isn't necessary. And if anyone, other than I, were to lay hands on my child they'd pay, and pay dearly.

    If used properly without abuse, I see no problem with it.

    It may sound great on paper, but what should really be back is maybe detention or maybe kicking players off football teams or parent accountability.

    why?
  • MlssCue... jaydenvdv 2012/07/12 04:25:46
    MlssCue =Go Blue=
    Because, it's us who raise them. Us who shows them, teaches them right from wrong. If a parent doesn't do that there are higher chances that child is going to be unruly because they didn't have the proper boundaries set up for them.

    lol that is awsome!! I totally agree with you, just wanted to see if I'm not the only one. I take full responsibility for my kids and their actions just wanted to see what you would say :)
