    This is a question that is not a yes or no one. The reason they make more money, is because of the money they make for the schools. And if t here is a winning season involved, then they are "worth" more. Our culture is so sports oriented, and it would probably be impossible to change it.

    They bring in the dough re mi. Alumni support sports more than their socialist agendas, I hope!!!!

    College sports programs make money for the schools and the better the program the more the school can make, for that reason I do think they are worth more than the professors.

    they bring in more revenue than the professors whom many only work three days a week while the coach works as many a seven days a week during the season. They also work five days a week during the off season recruiting and making public appearances.

    I don't believe there's a correct answer here - 2 totally different scenarios. I do know in years past many college football coaches also were teachers and not just coaches
