Sure but why stop there... Why not murderers, thieves, DUI drivers, bad neighbors, people who park in handicap zones without a placard, people engaged in Lewd and Lascivious behavior, people who have children out of wedlock, someone who Blasphemes against Your God? Who gets to throw the first stone?

Any serial killer should be executed providing they are guilty beyond any shadow of doubt.

Vengeance? Revenge? Certainly not.

Purely pragmatic reasons. They cost too much to keep in jail for ever. They are totally useless human beings. They can't be reformed or released. I don't want my taxes being used to keep them. When they kill themselves in jail as they frequently do is there a public outcry? Certainly not, they are erased from the public memory.

Sometimes, it depends on what exactly they did, and some serial pedophiles have actually requested to be killed or castrated because they would not be able to help themselves and would continue to do it even though they know it it is wrong.

As a mother my instinct is to agree with executing the vermin, as a person that knows that innocent people have been executed, killed I am against it and its for that and that reason alone I have deep reservations.

They should be treated in a Psychiatrc Facility. Executing Pedophiles would require that others with sexual aberations such as Homosexuals,Beastialist, Transvestites, S&M; Practitioners etc,be Executed. There are thousands of people that this would affect. Execute one aberant group then the law of Equal Protection would demand that other aberants be executed. Shades of Nazi Germany and the "slippery Slope".

That is failed logic. The "other" groups are not forcing children to have sex. Adults can participate in whatever sinful behaviors they want in their own home with consenting adults. People who mess with animals are sick too, and should be charged with cruelty to animals...but animals are not CHILDREN, and I am offended that you'd put child rape in the same categories. You people who use bad behavior to justify abhorrent behavior really have problems.

Personally, I don't think our government is morally correct enough to lay that type of judgement on someone/anyone.

That being said, would I have a problem if a family member found out and took it upon themselves...no, I would fully understand that. Also, there is a code in prison, and child molesters are the worst of the worst, and generally pay the price...

I once knew of a guy who did several years because he shot a guy who raped his daughter in the ass...I'd probably have killed the man...just sayin'...he didn't, just shot him in the butt, and had to pay for it...I don't think that man owed society one iota!

I don't support the death penalty - but I've volunteered in a prison for over two years and know what the inmates do to child molesters and rapists -there's even a code amongst the lowest of the low and the fiends who defile the criminal code get their comeuppance. I say let the inmates handle their own.

At least one person shares the same idea. Killing them gives them the easy button. What the inmates and at some places the prison guards, do to them is much worse, let alone what people in society does to them. Better to let them live and suffer for the rest of their days (either until they die, someone kills them, or they lose it and commit suicide) then give them the chance to repent and get a free trip to heaven.

When it's your child being penetrated by a grown adult who gets off on a baby or child, fighting against them or crying uncontrolably because they are scared, in pain, and don't understand why a grown up would do such a thing, and you find out they have done it before- tell me then those people have souls. They come back dead or filling land fills, and that is fine with you or coming back physically or mentally damaged?
