The celebrities should be off limits too.
just because a couple of people know who you are, shouldn't give them the right to invade your privacy.
Should celebs’ kids be off-limits to paparazzi, or are they fair game?

It's an unspoken rule that celebrities are forced to deal with the annoyance of paparazzi and a lack of privacy... but do their kids have to deal with it too? Do you think celebrities' children should be off-limits to paparazzi... or are they fair game?

Those who were alive at the time Prince Harry and Prince (Williams) of England were children, understand how important it was to be aware of their lives immediately after their mother's tragic death.
I don't think the children should be exploited, but the general-public wants & needs to be informed about them.
While adult stars have had time to develop normally as a child (most of the time) and can deal with the fame they have in adulthood, these children are RAISED by fame, and they don't know a life without it.
They'll probably grow up insecure, self-conscious, wary, and with trust issues. These are very real problems. Child fame can do that.
Now, I'm not saying that it absolutely WILL happen, but it's likely. And come on, no child deserves that.
For example, Jaden & Willow Smith - son and daughter of Will & Jada Pinkett Smith - seem to be growing into fine young adults. They are doing this despite being baptized in the public spotlight since they were old enough to talk.
It all depends, I guess. I mean, Snooki's kid? That can't end well.
Just often makes them targets...
About the only method to prevent you childs picture from being taken that I can accept is a restraining order or other legal action against those that harass you, or in the event of reckless endangerment from the paparazzi, throw them in jail. However, the simple act of filming or taking pictures in public of any "special" group of people should never be illegal.
