Definitely, because anyone this obese is a danger to themselves and a burden on society.

And that's how big I want my dates to be! But my question to the OP and everyone else is...Who is going to enforce it? Do you want the government to increase taxes to cover this?

If they reach that weight and have no disease that causes “Super Morbid Obesity"

Best if they are just left to burst.

This American craze for gross over eating is starting in the UK now. We had a woman like this who had to be removed by demolishing her house in order to get her out.

The expense to the tax payer must have been huge for this case alone.

I hate to think what it costs in America where this is endemic.

You can't force someone to lose weight if she doesn't want to, regardless if it's the best option for her. The doctor can suggest it, but it's up to the person whether or not to heed that advice.

We're responsible for ourselves which includes our bodies.. It may be disgusting to the average person but maybe not to them? Some people really are obsessed with their body types and want to gain more weight, even those who are already obese. More importantly, no one should be forced to do anything. If they want to stay that large then let them do it. It's like forcing people underweight to gain it.

It's like, should people forced to give up weed? They have to WANT to give it up, or it's never gonna work..

Let them get as fat as they want, it's their bodies. Just don't define it as a handicap, allow them to get aid because of it, or obtain any kind of special treatment.

Can't really force them to, even though it would be best if they did.
