That is really cruel and not natural especially for cats. Like people we need to stick to our natural food sources and eat them in variety to the extent that they are part of our natural diet. Disease is born out of imbalance and unnatural substances. It is not fair to force your personal preference on your animals in lieu of a meat diet. Sensitive and allergy prone animals do very well on a lamb and rice combination if that is a concern.

if you have a animal you might want to look at the ingreds list your probably feeding corn that is not fit for human consumption ,if it isn't fit for humans to eat then it's not fit for any animal, mostly moldy, low quality corn. all you people talking about meat look at your dog food and see where the meat is. byproduct of chicken and meat are not meat theyare left overs of garbage that isn't fit to feed anything.studies done on your cheap dog food is finding it is not really nutritiously as stated on the bag. never read the front of the bags because they are marketed at people not the welfare of the dog or cat. All you people on here crying about animals are carnivores and how it's mean have obviously never had an animal with allergies and digestive problems. I have been a vegetarian for 8 years, but always fed my animals meat-based foods. My one dog was on a fish and potato recipe for years. He couldn't eat chicken or beef without it going right through him. I have 2 other pets with allergies, and the only thing that works for them is vegetarian food. My dogs look great, they are bright and alert all the time, and they haven't looked back! I have spoken to many vets about this, and they all agree that any dog or cat can live happily on a vegetarian diet.

talking about meat,take a look at your dog food ingreds list. your low quality food likes super market food the first thing is CORN, by product(which is not meat) wheat gluten then the meat is way down the list so that means that cheap dog food is mostly corn, they can't digest , corn is a carb so you might as well put the first inngreds SUGAR. So I would rather see her feed vegs diet than that cheap dogs food that most people bye. At least the lady has to make sure the dog or cat get protein than cheap garbage. If you think meat is so important find some good dog food where the meat is the first ingred and no poultry or meat by prouduct( poultry by product is beaks, feather,feet,un formed eggs and meat by prodcut is the same. The real cheap food has dog and cats in it, there commits were protein is protein.

CORN does not mean sugar, corn syrup does, it is good to feed your animals a good diet,but don't pass on misinformation. Actually more sugar is present in fruits and veggies than corn. The "real cheap" food does not have cats and dogs in it..

Cats & dogs are carnivorous by nature. Their body's need to nutrition from meat. Why try to change their nature just because someone doesn't believe in eating meat?
