    homeless shelter dude..... yeah, i need to "get more of a life" as the saying goes from uneducated people. (i dont mean you.....computers can be deceiving......). i mean it in general....people come down to the shelters and always say the same things..... they should try it out for about 5 years.

    Go and get the hole patched at a shoe repair guy. Then spray them with one of those shoe sprays that gets rid of smell. We have Odour-Eaters over here.

    Tie it to its mate and throw it over a telephone wire where the sun can get to it, and the schtink doesn't matter. ;)

    Duct Tape on the inside, several layers. Oh, and spray the outside with WD-40. If that can't fix the problem, throw them out and get another pair. Goodwill or Salvation Army?

    That stink is caused by micorganisims, and they are sensitive to cold.. it kills them. Put them in a bag, and then stick them in the freezer over night, and the smell should go away
