There is plenty to blame Obama for but this wasn't his fault. The contracts in the ABC piece were signed 8-10 years ago. The Feds give the money to the states, the states put the jobs out to bid. The governors at the time were Pataki (R), Schwarzenegger (R) and Murkowski (R). Those are the facts ladies.

Lets not forget the Obama administration recently gave a Brazilian plane factory work on twin engine small capacity air planes. Yet we have here in the U.S. several small plane manufacturers' of same. Obama is against the pipeline from Canada to the Gulf states, yet clammers for independence from foreign oil. Obama keeps touting jobs for America yet continues to send them over seas or defeats the building of projects that provide new jobs......imagine all the new jobs available just to drill off the coast of the USA and up in
Alaska ? Yet he uses our tax money to subsidize Solandra, GM, and other favorites that go boom in the night. Do we need four more years of this ?

The problem with blaming Obama for this ABC report on job outsourcing. The Federal Government just gave the money to the states, who had the final call on who to award the work to. There are laws requiring the states to buy american as long as the costs and delivery times are reasonable. But Republican officials in Schwartz nagger's administration turned down competitive quotes from American firms and awarded the $7,2 billion project to a Chinese government owned contractor. Anybody small some kickbacks here?

I am an American company who put in a zero bid to repair many roads and bridges in and around Galveston after Ike. Crew, Supplies and man hours all out of my personal pocket to get these people back home or at the least to a point to begin to live. It was the Obama Administration that would not allow a zero bid. The contract were given to a out of country company in the billions. I am not a native Texan, but I got here as fast as I could. These people do what it takes to help one another. No local or State government aid was allowed to assist in the clean up.

Mississippi has those wonderful floods, all I was allowed to do is donate items and not services. When you have companies who have a fleet of construction equipment who offer a zero bid to help get people home. That s when you know your government is screwing those who does not support their liberal agenda.

As for the bridge in NY, it policy to except the lowest and best bid. The China crew and work is over three time the cost and already the local unions have had to come in and repair the bad welds. Saving, try overages.

Sounds like the STATE of California is the ones that dropped the ball on this one... I don't like Obama either... but I heard nothing that pointed a finger at his pointy head here.
