Abercrombie & Fitch has relied on sex to sell their products since the '90s, and they thrived for years despite facing controversy for selling sexy underwear to 10-year-old girls, and placing pornographic material throughout the store.

But it looks like even the oldest marketing trick in the book can no longer save the retail chain: they've lost a third of their market value and within the next three years will have closed over 250 US stores. Will you miss Abercrombe & Fitch if they end up going out of business? Do you still shop there?

First off, I'm not that young. Second, they do not, at least not here in the United States. None of the major pet food companies use horse meat as an ingredient in any of their products, because this is prohibited by federal law, oh wise one.

I never even liked the place or the prices. They should pay you for advertising, seeing as they put their name on everything. There are much better looking clothing at many other stores. That store is basically for spoiled rich kids or wannabe's !

a&f; is like no other department store. they sure as hell do a good job at selling overpirced clothing. most teenagers feel proud to wear a 60 dollar shirt. only materialistic dumb boys and jocks would shop there. there's no special material invested into these clothing, but somehow all the marketing coul've been put into making a better product

Girl: i bought this blazer for 140 dollars! and I got these sweatpants for 75 dollars!

(note that people have TOns of clothes)

As for sex, it shows that they'd pull every trick out of their asses just to make a sell, including sex. It's not like they care about the costumers, they care about the money of their hard-working parents

The clothes aren't worth the money, and the stores smell so bad I can't even walk past them unless I'm holding my breath.

All their clothes seem to be tailor-made for skinny people. Even if they weren't, I still wouldn't shop there. Place is expensive.

Their prices are too high and it smells bad before you even walk into the store. I can find better clothing in Charlotte Russe and Forever 21 any day

All the shirts are the same just in different colors. Where is the variety in that? Plus they are so expensive and it's not my style anyways.

Never shopped there.
I never even knew where they had a store.
I have seen people wearing clothing with the name printed on it in large letters.
I have no desire to wear clothes with the maker's name in 60+ point type across the front or back.

The store used to be one of the finest gentleman's sports clothing and accessory suppliers in the world. Now they sell the same crap you can get anywhere else.

Well at least they had stuff for skinny people. Im a size one, but when I was 12 I was a size 8 in kids, and Abercrombie was one of the only places that carried my size.
