You never know what strange new trends will emerge from New York Fashion Week, but one thing you can count on seeing in some form is what the New York Daily News has deemed "femme-bellishments."

This year's batch of runway shows are no exception. Sequins, lace, crystals and gold embroidery have been popping up all over 2013's New York Fashion Week. Check out some of the looks here, and let us know: Is girly glam always in fashion?

    It shall always be in fashion because its just one of things that will always be part of our lives, even when you think its gone it will always exist somewhere in the world.

    Not that everyone likes it, But girly Girl will always be in demand & in fashion personally I like a little feminine touch in my dresses ...( while I'am sitting in broke in levi's & a hoodie)

    I think not soo much like Prom Dresses and that sorta thing, But it will always have the Lace and Sequins incorporated in designers clothing.

    Was that actually a real fur coat?! (Could we be seeing a backlash to the animal righters?) Unless a species is endangered, I see nothing wrong with real fur, or with wearing vintage fur in the alternative.

    Clothes can be "girly" by having bows and draping and other pretty things that are still elegant...but excessive glitter is just...no.

    Yes, I think so. Most every female likes to "glitz" it up once in awhile. But a little goes a long way in my opinion and some of the outfits shown in the story are just butt jam ugly.

    Personally I think the color Pink worn by females of all ages reflects the old fashioned traditional values of genderism and that is the effect intended to sustain."Girly glam" a nicer term for"Barbie glam" perhaps?.
