In case you haven't heard, Selena Gomez is almost 20 years old. So there's no reason why she shouldn't be posing in a sexy photo shoot for Elle magazine. However, for some of her Disney fans, pics like these are kind of weird.

One thing is clear: Justin Bieber's girlfriend, who will next be seen in an indie flick, is all grown up. "I get offered the teenybopper movies, and I've done that. I haven't done a mega-hundred-billion-dollar Transformers movie, but that's not what I want to do either," she tells the mag.

But she has no regrets about her Disney roots. "Disney is a machine, so people automatically assume that you can't work for the channel unless you act and sing and dance and sign up for all that. That's absolutely not true. I always did everything the way I wanted to do it," she says.

Gomez grew up poor -- "I can remember about seven times when our car got stuck on the highway because we'd run out of gas money" -- but these days, she's enjoying being spoiled by the Biebs, who recently rented out LA's Staples Center for a private screening of "Titanic." "If I'll share anything with you, it's that he really is a hopeless romantic. I had just mentioned it in the car - all I said is that I really want to see Titanic again, and then..." I'd say she's done pretty good for a disney star!

She's an adult. She's not claiming to be Mother Theresa, nor is she bound by ties with Disney. I think her pictures are tasteful and beautiful. And yes, there is a dash of sexy.

I knew she was hot, but DAMN !! Some more please !! Now if we could just get her away from that little slime. If you wonder why I call him that it is because he was one of the first to do a duet with the woman beater Chris Brown. He would still be in exile where he should be if not for him.

The girl is 20 years old. She definitely old enough. I don't know why people get so scandelized when disney stars take sexy pictures and things. Yea, they were once little, but everyone grows up.

She is pretty, but I don't really like the outfits. All but the last one are ugly. Anyway, it's not like she's 11; she's an adult! And like PhantomDream said, she does try too hard. And the "I used to be poor PITY ME!" thing IS annoying.

She is an ADULT. Get over it. And the photos are sexy but tasteful. It's a fashion magazine, not Playboy. Heck, everybody loved Kate Upton in Sports Illustrated and she's the same age. Hypocritical much?
