In case you haven't heard, Selena Gomez is almost 20 years old. So there's no reason why she shouldn't be posing in a sexy photo shoot for Elle magazine. However, for some of her Disney fans, pics like these are kind of weird.

One thing is clear: Justin Bieber's girlfriend, who will next be seen in an indie flick, is all grown up. "I get offered the teenybopper movies, and I've done that. I haven't done a mega-hundred-billion-dollar Transformers movie, but that's not what I want to do either," she tells the mag.

But she has no regrets about her Disney roots. "Disney is a machine, so people automatically assume that you can't work for the channel unless you act and sing and dance and sign up for all that. That's absolutely not true. I always did everything the way I wanted to do it," she says.

Gomez grew up poor -- "I can remember about seven times when our car got stuck on the highway because we'd run out of gas money" -- but these days, she's enjoying being spoiled by the Biebs, who recently rented out LA's Staples Center for a private screening of "Titanic." "If I'll share anything with you, it's that he really is a hopeless romantic. I had just mentioned it in the car - all I said is that I really want to see Titanic again, and then..." She's like 20, I mean she isn't pregnant, addicted to drugs(as far as I know), or posing nude.
I'd say she's done pretty good for a disney star!

I said it was the same hotel room. It wasn't her. There are plenty of things that don't match those photos with her many see thru's in the white T-shirts.

Seriously, no face doesn't raise any flags for you? Ah well, haters gonna hate and believe whatever suits their preconceived notions. I'd actually be happy if they were real, but they aren't.

I personally believe the pictures are artistic and age appropriate for sure. People get fired up for the smallest things. She's almost 20 now, she's not a little kid.

Yeah, look at how Taylor Momsen has been undressing since she was 14. Don't get me wrong, I love Taylor and her music, and she's a good actress, but it always bothered me they made such a big deal about what Miley was (or wasn't) wearing, and Taylor got a pass on the negatives.

Trust me I've seen more explicit pictures in fashion magazines. First second one is actually tasteful. Looks kind of like a mermaid. At least she isn't topless and in a pair of bikini bottoms.
