Brazilian manufacturer, Embraer Jets (or, 'E-Jets'), is looking to increase their visibility in the U.S. aircraft market. The E-Jet boasts a smaller cabin than popular domestic aircrafts like the Boeing-737 and Airbus-320, holding anywhere from 70-124 passengers. These jets are targeting airlines that aim to fly shorter, more frequent routes.

The smaller E-Jet is a single-aisle plane, with two passenger seats on each side rather than three. This may be a huge plus for travelers who avoid the ever-dreaded middle seat. Which seat do you prefer on a plane?

TRAVEL.USATODAY.COM reports:
If you've flown up to half-way across the U.S., the chances are good you've been on a plane made by Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer.

I almost never use public washrooms and I don't like peoples asses in my face trying to get out to use the washroom. Plus, I like looking at the view outside. Look at this pretty ugly picture I took

I prefer the window if I'm flying, but I really dislike flying. It's not the actual flying that bothers me, thuogh; it's the being crammed in like sardines. I hate that; if you have to take a leak, you have to make people move, etc. If you need a refill or another $3 bag of nuts, you have to push the button and wait an hour. You get better service, sometimes, when you push the button to call a nurse in the hospital.

I can put up with the discomfort, because at the end of the day, I remember that I'm seven miles above the earth, hurtling over the ground at 500-700 MPH (depending on your tail winds). A journey that took my great grandparents a year takes me ten hours.

Good point, but I'm kind of a minor claustrophobic. I find closed spaces annoying, not panic-inducing.

Prefer the window seat although I do adjust. When I choose my seats, I do try and make sure there is no one else near me as I like to stretch myself out with a pillow and blanket.

I hate flying. A judge made me go visit people I didn't want to see. that ruined flying for me for life. But if I would ever have to fly again it'd either need a window or isle seat. Claustophobia.

Not if you fly the Airbus A320 series. Widest economy class middle seat of any economy class airliner.

Yeah, but you're only on for 1, maybe 2 hours max. The day they use those for longhauls... (I'm sure someone's trying to figure that one out).
