Brazilian manufacturer, Embraer Jets (or, 'E-Jets'), is looking to increase their visibility in the U.S. aircraft market. The E-Jet boasts a smaller cabin than popular domestic aircrafts like the Boeing-737 and Airbus-320, holding anywhere from 70-124 passengers. These jets are targeting airlines that aim to fly shorter, more frequent routes.
The smaller E-Jet is a single-aisle plane, with two passenger seats on each side rather than three. This may be a huge plus for travelers who avoid the ever-dreaded middle seat. Which seat do you prefer on a plane?

I'm something of a white knuckle flyer.

Celestial navigation is a lost art. But on a clear night really high up the sky's the limit.
When you consider the cost, the sheer number of individuals, the myriad specialist types and the skill levels it took just to put you there you can almost get a feeling how it must have been landing on the Moon.
