  Have done just this for many a year ..
  I am not going to get into a vehicle where the person is obviously 'under the influence' or has imbibed during the evening ..
  and I don't go out just for the sake of going out either ..

  Sure, I never drink and drive and I rarely drink. I think like every year, I'll walk to my neighbors party and have my one glass of wine and walk home and I'll remember to take my flashlight!

  I rarely ever ride with anyone other than a Muni Bus Driver; who almost always appear to be drugged, anyway . . . That's par for the course in San Francisco. So what? . . . But I have to get around . . . Especially if it's raining. In POVs I don't know of anyone who drinks or uses drugs, anyway.

  I don't drink, but I have meds for my neck, and if I have to take them, I don't even look at my vehicle, and if by some chance I have to go to work. I call in. I can't, and will not risk my life or someone elses.
