Sarah Silverman Hoax Tweets Before-and-After Abortion Photos: Reaction?

How is this different than when Christians do acts at Halloween depicting women who have abortions burning in Hell? If one side is allowed to diminish the seriousness of a womans right to have an abortion because she was raped or her life were endangered, then why should the other side be allowed to likewise diminish the seriousness of abortion by making a sick joke of the matter?

People on the political left like to take the side of people like Silverman because somehow they feel that abortion isn't serious and that act's like this somehow hurt the Pro Life movement... it doesn't, it backfires on Pro Choice.

What do we see with Pro Choice?

Black women having two to three times as many abortions as white women.

Hypocrisy where Pro Choice supporters claim they don't support abortion as birth control yet support a womans right to an abortion for any reason directly contradicting their "honest" statements they do not support abortion as birth control.

Atheists latching on to the topic as a way of using it to attack Christians viewing anyone that supports Pro Life as a religious fanatic.

Women claiming this is about womens rights when they support a womans right to have an abortion for any reason but would deny a man the equal right to step away when he chooses not to accept responsibility for the same reasons women use to have abortions.

There is no simple answer here.

Pro Lifers ignore that women get pregnant every day never knowing it because the embryo is flushed from their body or something goes wrong and the fetus is absorbed back into the mothers body. The truth is that a huge number of women experience this as well as stillborn babies and if God is involved as many Christians believe, then God caused these things to happen... that is what Christians are saying when they oppose abortion on religious grounds as only God can create a life... so then, why do so many conceptions go horribly wrong or are flushed from the mothers body without the woman ever knowing she had been pregnant.

I am not debating abortion here nor right or wrong, I am addressing why what Silverman did here is wrong by illustrating why many replying to this topic will give the views they offer. It's called ignorance!

Silverman does more harm than good to the cause of womens rights because her bit of humor will bring out the worst in those who are more extreme in their views where Pro Choice are concerned.

They will ridicule the issue, the people who think Silverman was wrong and present a portrait of Pro Choice supporters making them all look like extremists who could care less about what is often an extremely difficult decision for any woman by supporting what essentially is a mockery of the issue.

The only people who will think this will help Pro Choice or think it's funny are people who support abortion for any reason and view the unborn as not being real human lives because they equate this with a parasite or tumor.

Tell this to women who have been raped or who are forced to have an abortion to save their lives... they don't support abortion because it's funny or meaningless, they support it because it's necessary and it can be both devastating and traumatic for these women who didn't ask for this... and who, in most cases, want the child but must live with the horror of what a man did to them because of rape or who will live with emotional pain for the rest of their lives because they had an abortion to save their lives.

You folk who think this is funny and some sort of joke... you only prove why the Pro Life side is actually more correct on this matter than you are because at least they care when a mockery like this takes place, as do most Pro Choice supporters who only support abortion to preserve a womans right to abortion to save her life or when she has been raped.

Those of you who support Pro Choice... can you understand why so many people support a womans right to abortion but support Pro Life instead of Pro Choice? It's because of moments like this where you see someone making a mockery of the matter with absolutely no care nor concern for the suffering women endure when they must choose abortion to save their lives or to forget the evil that some man forced upon her without her consent.

Pro Necessity... a new "choice" to guarantee all women who have been raped or whose lives are endangered by something that's gone horribly wrong that could cost her own life if she does not abort.

Anything else beyond that is nothing more than birth control and an issue to grant feminist extremists power their own failed views otherwise would have resulted in these women being purged from womens rights decades ago so that today we wouldn't live in a society where 9 year old boys are tossed out of school or brought before a court of law for daring to say his teacher was cute.

So laugh about this and think it's funny...some people think killing someone and using their skin to make lampshades with is downright hilarious and frankly... I don't!

This was wrong on many levels and if you don't agree... you're entitled to be wrong.
