Carrie Bradshaw was into shoes ... Sarah Jessica Parker is into hats. The actress arrived at the Crown Oaks Club Ladies Luncheon in Melbourne, Australia, on Wednesday wearing a hat better fit for a wizard.

The actress's headpiece was created by milliner-to-the stars Philip Treacy, who also designed the infamous "fascinator" that Princess Beatrice wore to the royal wedding. Parker struggled to see the audience under the hat and her face was partially hidden, The Daily Mail reported.

"I will say I hope I live up to the history and the glamour and the tradition that has been so well established," Parker said. "And mostly I don't want to embarrass any of you and to be worthy of this gracious and very hospitable invitation." Glamorous? Maybe. Embarrassing? Definitely.
Treacy spent more than 200 hours creating the hat especially for Parker. "She's the ultimate fashion icon," he said. Well, her Chanel tweed dress was certainly chic, but above the forehead she's all Harry Potter. Or maybe she's just a couple of days late for Halloween. Do you think Sarah Jessica's hat is fitting for a "fashion icon"? Or completely ridiculous? We're calling it a hat-astrophe ... and only "high" fashion in the literal sense of the term.

Fashion a reflection of insecurity compensated by a stubborn stand at being snobby and tacky.
Get implants and be done with it.
