Yup, sandals can even kill you in some rare cases. Walking around in your sandals can pick up deadly bacteria in your feet and case illnesses. Dr. Charles P. Gerba -- professor of microbiology at the University of Arizona -- says that 93 percent of flip flops will have fecal bacteria after three months of wear, and 20 percent will have E. coli.

Answered: No. My sandals are fine.
That is very good to know, kind of scary but if you maintain the cleanliness of your sandals you should be alright. Wash them in something anti-bacterial and I believe you should be ok.

Nope. I'm always either in sandals or I'm barefooted and all that's happened to me were light calluses. I'm sure I'm fine.

That's disgusting I wear flip flops alot but i take care of my feet and wash my flops everytime i wear them so i think i'm ok. It's good to know though.

The only time I'd wear sandals is at the beach or pool. My feet always hurt whenever I walk around in them for a long time.

Please any shoe can pick up bacteria,you can trip with any shoe on,In fact you are less likely to keep germs on bare feet than hot sweaty shoes which is a place they love to live and breed...

i luv my flip flops. there a hell of alot easier to put on than gym shoes wen ur being rushed and ur feet are wet
