My family passed down that pride, love of independence, strong family ties, and strong work ethic. The music and dance just blows me away, and to hear the accent spoken by a guy from Ireland is awesome.

Yet 'twas not the beauty alone that won me.
Oh no, 'twas truth in her eyes ever dawning
That made me love Mary, the Rose of Tralee.
I'll have to do something about that.
And Irish coffee (decaf, please).
But in addition to these and their lovely people and countryside are some of their sports, which are very situated. They have a Gaelic football that is one of the world's nearest to our Australian game. Every 2 yrs the nations play off a hybrid series of the twoLOL! Further, as I'm aware only America, Australia and Ireland, which is where the game originated, play wall handball, and Ireland has one of the best games in the world, in Irish Hurling.
Finally, for me, they have such a very interesting and strong local culture.
I love my Irish Crystal from Waterford I picked up at the factory.
Linens and lace and I love their sweaters.
Kissed the Blarney Stone Twice when I was there.
