  Well sure. But beautiful and romantic and the history you can't beat. Most things attractive in our hearts and imagination have a different reality. I still find the whole concept of castles awesome.

  I went throught lots of castles in Germany but none in Ireland.

  I'm very proud of my Irish heritage, and there is so much that I love about it. Their pride, their hard work ethics, their loyalty to their families, the music, the food, the ale, the beautiful countryside, their charity, I could go on and on.   Nearly half my heitage comes from Ireland. The country also connects well into ours - with much similarities in folk or country/outback music here. Some of my interest was rekindled by music entertainer, Daniel O'Donnell. He's just great.
  But in addition to these and their lovely people and countryside are some of their sports, which are very situated. They have a Gaelic football that is one of the world's nearest to our Australian game. Every 2 yrs the nations play off a hybrid series of the twoLOL! Further, as I'm aware only America, Australia and Ireland, which is where the game originated, play wall handball, and Ireland has one of the best games in the world, in Irish Hurling.
  Finally, for me, they have such a very interesting and strong local culture.
