When my mother shot herself to death. It was a tough couple of years after it happened to get back on track and just live again. I was eleven my brother was twelve and our sister was two. That was such a long time ago, so it seems like ancient history.
When I made a huge error in judgement which landed me in prison for a year. It hurt my two kids (alread grown), and most of all, my father (passed away) looking down seeing his daughter in a place he could never image.
it was the day my ex..took my son from me ,well we hv 2 kids ,he took my son who was only 2 1/2 yos. back then and i keep my daughter but my son back here stay with me every summer holiday
.......it seems Debra, You and myself, have experienced similar loss, with marriage ending up in divorce, mine ended in a mediated divorce, it turns out, during the divorce proceedings, my spiritual discernment, picked up that She never lived up to the original wedding vows, She wasn't unfaithful, and neither was I, but after We were married, unfortunately We grew apart, You stop doing things enjoyable, shared, that will kill a marriage, thanks for Your posting, We're not that far apart in Our ages, Debra....... take care........
well, nothing about anybody dying, or losing someone, and nobody needs to know my life story, but i guess it was the first time my mom ran away from my dad and left me with him. she came back a few months later, of course, and this happened a few different times..
this is all in the past now, and me and my mom have a pretty healthy relationship

She was sick had Epilepsy and depression so even though she was 29 she felt hopeless. My brother and I cared for our sister. It was tough but we had already had a poor tough life existence so it was just another bad thing in a list of bad things. Life got better for all of us once we grew up, my sister is fine, my brother owned his own business and recently retired, we were survivors and you either make life better for yourself or give in, and that we did not do.
Thanks Sister just part of a rough life but things get better if you work for them to. I met a wonderful woman and have had a great long married life with a great family.
That was many years ago, and as a adult you look at things differently. I understand it now but didn't as a kid. I have had a interesting life and a good family so in the long run things have been good.
can't really decided really either my mom dying when i was 13 or my father leaving me and my sister for good at the age of 14 and never coming back or the endless amounts of time's some guy or girl has broken my heart
