Rihanna is back to black. The singer revealed her new, darker locks -- with a shaved area near her left temple -- at the Tokyo photo call for her new movie "Battleship," The Daily Mail reports. Look familiar? It's because she's worn a similar look in the past.

Last month, Rihanna told People about her plans to go back to black. "Black is easy," she said. RiRi also posted several pictures of her new 'do via her Instagram account, including one where she appears to be smoking.

Meanwhile, the singer discussed the possibility that she could play Whitney Houston in a biopic. "That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off. That's a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job," she said. Do you like Rihanna's latest hairstyle? Or do you already miss the blonde wig?

The color just doesn't suit her. I suggest she goes back to red. Or shave it off. I hate the whole shaved temple and leaving the rest all luscious and pretty looks rather stupid. It's like you began to shave your head and then forgot about it. Hell, even a Mohawk would be better.

I've always prefered her hair black to begin with because it suited her better than she had the blonde wig. I prefer natural hair color.
