I was corrected by a liberal friend, when describing a Japanese garden that the correct term was Asian..I laughed and said, "Really so all gardens in Asia look the same to you?". Now that's racist!

Left wingers arrive at their opinions through emotions and what they 'feel' is correct while the right use logic to make decisions. Logic tells me that 'chinese food' is just a description while emotionally it makes my mouth water and I realize I'm hungry. Either way it has nothing to do with racism.

Liberals are the only ones that talk about politicaly correct. Chinese food is chinese food, there is nothing racist about it. That is what it is.

To those that have SMALL MINDS anything that refers to non-white/caucasian (non-caucasians CAN'T be racist according to some) stuff is racist!!! Despite the DEFINITION of racism (making DECISIONS BASED ON COLOR OF SKIN!!!), some insist on on calling anything that even obliclly refers to a specific race (except white) racist!

No calling chinese food isn't racist. I like to consider myself in the middle not too far right and not too far left just in the middle.

The difference concerns politics. Both love chinese food. I guess the right wingers would call it "Taiwan chinese food" and the left wingers would call it "Communist chinese food." Either way, there is no racism.

If it is then we need to change the name of the following foods:
    Chinese Food
    Mexican Food
    Indian Food
    Italian Food
    Etc. Etc.

It has been worse than that. For supporting the two-state solution, I have been called an Anti-Semitic Nazi, a closet Muslim -- so has Obama. As for Chinese food, I like it.

Left-right, they don't even know. But Chinese food is Chinese food. It's not hamburgers, Italian or Greek. It is what it is.

I don't see how. The Chinese people invented the stuff right? We still call macaroni and lasagna and such 'Italian food' because the Italians came up with it. It's not an insult, it's a bloody description.

Political parties, in my own opinion are stupid, and pointless. Chinese food is what it is. is it racist to say american cheese? no. its not racist, and anyone who thinks it is need to pull their head out of whoever's ass its in, and face up to the fact that they are wasting their time, and energy in america by arguing stupid concepts.

Democrat and Republcan are political parties. Left and right are ideologies and hard to separate from everyday thinking although Libratarians like to think they have.

No, because it's different from Japanese food, Korean food, Thai food, etc. It's just better to call people Asian because a guy from Laos isn't Chinese.

No it'd be racism if you were calling all Asian food chinese food but if it is Chinese food then yea that's what it is. I've noticed people on both sides try saying it's racist but if you want to get technical it's not actually Chinese food real non Americanized Chinese food is much better.

In my opinion the difference is simple.., the difference is in the terminology only...Aside from that if one were to consider replacing the term "Right Wing and Left Wing with the term opposing opinion a very divisive element would be somewhat soften...

These terminology are used with divisiveness in mind.., the user prod voters in the same manor that dog and cock fight prod their champions to serve their purpose....

As for calling Chinese food what it is.., is anything but racist..., It is in fact.., no more racist than calling Mexican food., Mexican food or soul food.., soul food... Again the divisive manor in which words are use only serves the purpose of the applicants...JOMO

No, not at all. Unless you're a Democrat, and a Republican calls it Chinese food. Then of course as a Democrat, you would consider that racist.

That's quite funny. It's amazing the lengths some folks will go to prove how little they know. There are vast differences between gardens through the various regions of Asia and Southeast Asia. Different statuary, different hardscape, different landscape, Different plant materials and forms.
