Her book, "The Great Controversy", is a wonderful history of the Protestant Reformation. Everyone should read it to understand the history of the Roman Catholic Church.

Many individual Southern Baptists and National Baptists seem to pick those parts of the Bible which they like to believe and ignore the rest, just like American Baptists. Here are some key test questions to see if someone is really Christian:
1. In a Christian family, the husband is the head and the wife will submit to his authority. Anyone who tells you that men and women are equal and then claims to be a Christian is a hypocrite.
2. Homosexual relations are a filthy, depraved perversion. Christians do not hate people just because they think they are homosexual but we hate the sins of doing homosexual relations. We pray for those who do these things and try to save them from these sins so they will no longer think of themselves as homosexual. Anyone saying that homosexual relations are normal and acceptable is not a Christian.
3. Anyone who believes we are related to apes and monkeys is not a Christian
Of course, those are the questions to be used to separate true Christians from false Chrisitians. To separate those who claim to be Christian from who do not is easier:
!. Do you accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior.
2. Do you accept the Bible as the Word of God, without error.
3. Do you accept the Golden Rule as given by Jesus, to love the Lord thy God with all your soul and to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
(Understand that the Christian will wish that if he were guilty of having homosexual relations, he would want his friends and family to admonish him to escape this sin and castigate him until he did so, not accept him as he is and encourage him in his sinful behavior.)
