That's historically inaccurate. Look at the alternative, Atheism has killed more people than allnyother religion.

More people were actually killed by Athiests than any other religion.

Muslims: 1,000,000 murders

Take a look at the Atheist murders and genocides:

The Great Purge (20,000,000 deaths)
Chinese Government Murders (90,000,000 deaths)
Cambodian Genocide (745,000 deaths)
Burmese Genocide (500,000 deaths)

Atheism: 111,367,344 murders (at absolute minimum; there are smaller incidences that I haven't included).

I think it has brought more war and division than peace and acceptance but it has its good points too. Whether that outweighs the horrible things that have been done in the name of different "gods", I can't say.

In the last century maybe (take Hitlers kills out of Atheism and put that into Christianity), but in all written history Atheism is dwarfed in comparison.

You obviously count Atheism as a religion as do I, so why argue me on a point that I didn't bring up.

-Hitler was of a Pagan belief not Atheist or Christian (I'll post the evidence as a response to this comment). I didn't include the Holocaust to this list because Hitler's religion was unique between him, Himmler, and the SA which was forced to pray to Himmler's spirit at night.

-But it still has the largest death toll; that makes it that much clearer. Atheism has really only existed since about 1790 and it has way more murders than ancient religions.

Those who fake Religion do, those who are real, do not! Not everybody who said Lord, Lord will enter into heaven. I think Republicans give Religion a bad name, perhaps a bad taste also.

I know. I was asking the poster of the question for a source.

He has no evidence and doesn't want people to see that. History shows this very clearly.

If he doesn't believe in a creator, why shouldn't he lie? See, that's the weird part about it. The guy who denies God participates in deception. I suspect his problem isn't the lack of evidence of a creator but his hatred of the creator himself.

That's nearly every Atheist. Look at how anti-religion they are.
