Lol I asked this question this morning. To answer, I agree with Nick on this completely. In my own words you should vote for whomever you feel should be president and voting for that person is never throwing your vote away and logically cannot be considered "a vote for the other guy".

Not voting for someone simply because you think they cant win is part of what has helped keep us under the control of a two party system and allowed those two parties to give us such pis* poor candidates.

When I vote, I vote for who I think will do the best job, not against who I don't like. In four years, if Romney wins, the Democrats will be asking if a vote for the LP is a vote for Romney. This methodology of voting for anyone but the opposition, means you are willing to vote for the worst possible candidate as long as he/she carries your group's flag. And then you wonder why corruption and incompetence is so prevalent in our government.

Sometimes we have to do what we think is best for our country. I will not vote for Obama nor will I vote for Romney.

How is voting for someone who has no chance of winning and taking a vote away from someone who does helping the country? It's not. It's helping Obama.

You arent taking a vote away from anyone. Obama and Romney never were entitled to those votes. If either lose, its because they lost on their own merit (or lack of) and didnt deserve enough votes to win.

Second, you should instead be asking "what good will Willard do for this country?" instead. Although the answer is Romney will do as much good for this country as Obama. Both love the NDAA.

A vote for Paul or Johnson is your only chance to vote for increasing Liberty.

America has at best perhaps another year or two to live. Neither Romney nor Obama will lift one finger to turn from collapse to Liberty.

Same if the vote for Ron Paul. This is exactly what the left wants; it will dilute Romney's voter base.

It is the RINO Party diluting its own base.
Somewhere along the way, if America is to recover (most unlikely), there must be candidates who stand on a foundation of Very Simple Principle.
There is no Principle visible in the Dem-Rep Monopoly. That means only that all gets worse, not better.

Therefore, there's no possibility of accomplishing anything via Romney/Obama, so why vote against your own Liberty?

Except that I think Ron Paul voters come from the Left more than the right.

I am a traditional Liberal thinking person. I fear the Right because of their embracing of religion into law and coddling of the wealthy. I am voting Gary Johnson. So you think of it as one less vote for Obama, not because I dislike Obama, but for the right reason, that I agree most with Johnson.
