Why would a person be proud of being white? What did you do to make yourself white? What great achievement of white people were you are part of?

I could see a person being proud of being a college graduate, or of having played on a championship sports team, or of having raised a child to become a successful adult. To be proud of an accident of birth, though, kind of makes it seem like your stretching it to find something to have pride in.

Good points which is exactly the points I've made in that whites nor anyone else should be ashamed of their race or heritage.. We had no control over any of it!

What I'm saying is that I don't judge anyone by their nationality I judge them by the way they act towards me and other folks and I'm sure they judge me the exact same way. Vennie I'm sure you yourself do the same thing.

"Judge" is a very specific word. If you mean I form opinions about people based on what they do and say and how they act towards me, then you are correct. But I try not to judge. I'm not qualified to judge other and I hope they aren't into judging me. Being here on SodaHead is an interesting and often enlightening and sometimes frustrating experience but I don't think what we see written here gives us sufficient information to render any kind of judgement on anyone else. We have not walked any distance in each other's moccasins, as a Native American saying tells us.

Sorry but American people are generally a few generations slow of race embrace, it is hard for us to believe an issue like that exists in the supposed greatest country in our world.

When a black man runs for president over here, it would not even be talked about, do you understand?
Race is irrelevant to anything a human can do in there life, it is only an issue when we choose to make it an issue.
