    I'm certainly not ashamed of it, and in the same sentence, I'd also state that I would leave it to social engineers and the like to hand wring over demographics, and the like. I am who I am, the color I am, and I spend my time worrying about issues that matter. If you surround yourself with quality people, you don't see color.

    I'm proud of my heritage, whether it be German, English, Polish, Texan, what have you, but I don't think that it makes me better than anyone else.

    The problem with "White Pride", is that it focuses on the color of your skin, not your heritage.

    I'm White and not ashamed! I am proud of my ancestors, they were Irish and a lot of them were slaves. Iv'e never been racist toward anybody, but a hell of a lot of people have been racist toward me because of my skin color. I think anybody should be proud and not ashamed of what God gave them.     Surely! And me especially, since none of my ancestors owned slaves in America, I'm 4th generation at best. People of all races have the right to be proud of their heritages.

    I dont get the point behind this because well its not just the "whites" being belittled..
    And how can someone be a color other than what he's born with so why be ashamed? No race has anything to be ashamed of really. This request better be said like this: Rave this your not ashamed of your race..

    If i said i'm proud to be white, i would be implying that race matters to me. It doesn't in the least, and for this same reason, i'm also not ashamed of my heritage. Why not just leave all of this behind? Color shouldn't matter at this point in our history, and it doesn't have to.
