Not? But then, yes. In a way. I mean, if you know her enough to KNOW she has ten personalities, I'm going to assume you've got to know her pretty well. Maybe even well enough to tell between them? Anyway, the moment she says no and fights you, you STOP. I don't care if you've been married ten years and had consensual sex with her a million times before... when a woman says NO, she means NO. (Unless she stated to you before that No means Yes, lol in which case I hope you'd have some other safe word devised.) But it's basic. Rape is rape. That took some thinking though.

Did the person try to have sex with her or did he succeed?
I suppose it is rape if he did succeed. I am also wondering if the personality who resisted was the main personality? As in: Was it the actual persons personality and not the others who sprouted from it. I guess it will also be taken into consideration the character of the other personalities.

Does it even matter the woman is nuts loose her as fast as you can period. Whatever you do dont let her know where you live.

I made that mistake once then my neighbor called me up and described her to me I said yes that was the woman I was with for awhile. He then said well then Spence she is in my tree. What sure as hell there she was peeping into my home. After that my car just wound up missing things like the radio, hubcaps etc... she would always put the previous item back when she took the next so I never thought much of it. So listen to me never a good idea to date crazies.

If you pursue this person after becoming aware of her condition, then, yes, I would say that makes it rape. It isn't that much different than raping a special person who isn't of sound mind to give consent.

I believe there was a case of that in Wisconsin a while ago. A woman who suffers from multiple personalities picked up a guy in a bar and eventually had sex with him. However, the "woman" who had sex with him was an alternate personality and not the woman's original personality. The guy was convicted of sexual assault despite the "How did I know she had multiple -personalites" defense.
I think thats how it went down.. if anyone out there could clairify a bit more please do.
