When you graduate high school, that's when I see you as an adult. Acting as a child is inexcusable. It's time to grow up.

I am from NYC, defending myself is not something I've ever hesitated to do. I went to college in the 90's. I loved living on campus, but I remember hazing as only being done to those involved in Greek organizations and no one was forced to be a part of it. I am also from the school of thought that says, there is ALWAYS a choice, it may not be as obvious, but it is there nonetheless.

Yes I agree there is never a good excuse for that. When in college you are suppose to be out of the high school mindset and behave accordingly.

College is meant for an education, gaining a skill to apply to the working world. Not to determine castes and plan how to haze one another. Maybe our college students should be informed about the nature of the working world that they are entering into maybe they'll focus on their studies and not F@cking around.

Got it. I didn't realize it was prevalent in college. Maybe in High School.
  • The Eli... Scott 2012/07/15 22:24:30

It shouldn't be prevalent in college, but it's a mentality that's carried from high school.
