It's been called "mommy porn" and "porn for women." Whatever it is, women everywhere can't get enough of the book, "Fifty Shades of Grey." The original book and its two sequels were self-published by previously unknown author E.L. James. It tells the tale of Anastasia Steele, a virginal college graduate, and Christian Grey, a billionaire with some pretty racy fetishes. And it's a huge hit -- currently No. 3 on Amazon, and No. 1 on the New York Times' e-book fiction best-seller list.

So why are women everywhere sneaking under the covers to read this book, which has been called "Twilight" for grown-ups? "It’s relighting a fire under a lot of marriages," Lyss Stern, founder of DivaMoms.com, told the Times. “I think it makes you feel sexy again, reading the books."
"Women just feel like it’s OK to read it," another woman said. "It’s taboo for women to admit that they watch pornography, but for some reason it's OK to admit that they’re reading this book." We're also hearing that the book series is NOT a romance and doesn't end well. Is it surprising that women are going for this sort of thing? Or is it the perfect book to peruse on your e-reader, and have nobody be the wiser?
