Catering to ethnic communities is legitimate unless it involves value judgments based on ethnicity.

Should we have "White" Pride, "Black" Pride, "Hispanic" Pride, WET, BET, HET, NAACP, NAAWP, NAAHP, and other racist programs for each "race" or should have none at all?

+1what isn't racist about it? it's racist. you are not describing skin, you are describing the person's hair, their ancestry, etc. when you use the term blacks and whites. funny people almost never use those names unless they are talking about someone who looks different from themselves, but when someone's skin is another color from their own all the sudden it's "necessary".reply

+1I understand and I believe you are inclusive. Unfortunately I don't think we can have racial pride and end racism too. We have to choose between ending racism by ending the labels, or keeping it alive by continuing to label each other and ourselves based on skin tone. I do understand, but I think we have to leave all that stuff behind us. In a non racist society, the color of their skin and yours would not matter at all, for better of worse, to anyone. It would be like saying we have long and short hair. People would say, "So what?" That's when we know racism has ended.reply
