Have you ever caught yourself saying "That baby is so cute, I can hardly take it," or found yourself overwhelmed by an almost uncontrollable urge to squeeze a tiny prancing puppy? Earlier this week, we learned that these inappropriate expressions and feelings are part of a phenomenon researchers are labeling "cute aggression," and AdriHead wanted to know who experiences it and who doesn't.
It turns out that while the vote was extremely close, a very small majority of people (51%) don't suffer from it. That being said, certain demographics definitely go crazy for cute. Read on to get the scoop!

LADIES LOVE CUTE... A LITTLE TOO MUCH
Only 35% of men fessed up to suffering from cute aggression. Conversely, 56% of women admitted to wanting to "squeeze adorable things so, so hard." We suspect that some of the men weren't being completely truthful, since it is more socially acceptable for women to fawn over cute things, but it makes sense that females would have more of an issue with this. Maybe it's their maternal side kicking in.
A GENERATIONAL DIVIDE
Surprisingly, the biggest demographic split over cute aggression was between the age groups. The majority of SodaHeads aged 13-17 and 18-24 (55% and 62% respectively) suffer from it, while over 70% of the 35-44, 45-54 and 55-64 age groups don't. Maybe over time you become desensitized to cuteness?
PARENTING KILLS CUTE AGGRESSION
Another interesting divide was between people with kids and people without. 70% of parents wondered if cute aggression was a real thing, while 58% of people who want children someday know all about it. Could this be because parents deal with the less cute side of children and baby animals (tantrums and potty training) more often? How quickly we forget...

+16"Cute aggression"? WTF is cute aggression? Beating somebody senseless with a stuffed animal.....or maybe getting eaten alive by kittens....or perhaps being smothered to death by baby rabbits? Those are some things that come to mind, when I think of "cute aggression". =D

The rest I agree with.
.. or people with hearts.
Study the term 'perversion' then study 'cute aggression'.
It's a pathology much like liberalism is a pathology.
I admit defeat.
. . . Meh.
Also, I'm a young female, as well as part of the LGBT community... And this doesn't apply to me at all.
