According to the calendar, summer is still a few weeks away, but in many places the season is in full swing. That means it's time to bust out your favorite swimsuit... or better yet, head off to the store and by a new set... or three! For guys, there isn't much to it. One rule: No speedos. For girls, however, the choices are vast, and the best choice isn't always obvious. So we polled the public -- men and women alike -- on the sexiest swimsuit a woman can wear.
When you're going for "sexy," less is more. Rumor has it the string bikini was designed by a Brazilian fashion model who ran out of material and had to tie the pieces together with bits of string, but we have our doubts. Somebody must have seen the appeal before accidentally stumbling onto the skimpy design. Whatever the case, string bikinis are still number one! At least, for most people...
Women Prefer the Standard Two-Piece
We had our suspicions, and they proved to be correct: The majority of those string bikini votes came from men. More than half of the male vote (57%) went for strings, while only a quarter of the female vote (25%) agreed. Women actually preferred the standard two-piece (31%) -- still enough skin to intrigue, but enough class and cover to avoid unfortunate misconceptions.
Liberals Like the One-Piece
Christians and conservatives are typically more associated with prudish attire, but in this case they were among the stronger supporters of the string bikini. Conversely, liberals were among the strongest supporters of the conservative one-piece swimsuit (31%), though libertarians were right there with them (36%). Both came out just about tied between the one-piece and string.
Teens Don't Tangle With Strings
Fortunately for parents, most teenagers aren't that into string bikinis (27%). Though, on the flip side, they're not fond of one-piece suits either (15%). They're happy to settle for the subtly sensual appeal of a standard two-piece (35%). Literally every other age group went head-over-heels for the string bikini.

+7the level of sexiness is a function of the woman in (or out of) the swimsuit ... a one-piece on Sofia Vergara would be way awesomer than a string bikini on Roseann Barr, for example
This shows her off better then anything I have seen on this page.

But -
I am not attracted to a full on assault.
Yet there is something lost when all is revealed to everyone all at once.
