Swine Flu...uhhh.. I meant "H1N1 Influenza A"... came from pigs. Eating a pig, even one infected with the disease, won't cause you to get sick.

I had an interesting experience once. I was sick at the Honduran border with El Salvador and had the runs. The bathroom was out of order so I went in the bushes. Some pigs showed up moments later and ate it all up!
What is it that pigs will NOT eat?

You don't have to eat pigs to get the flu and two eating pigs isn't really dangerous since the virus is killed in 70 degrees

I know that you can't get flu from eating anything. Flu is a virus spread by human contact. There are diseases you can get from eating meat. However, flu is not one of them.

I haven't eaten pork products for awhile now even before the Swine flu scare and this has me nervous enough to continue avoiding pork. I can't remember the last time I even ate a strip of bacon.
