Pop that zit! Do you get a strange satisfaction from popping a zit?

There is a website called popthatzit.com where people have an appreciation for zits and other disgusting body problems. You can see pictures and videos of pretty gnarly zits, cysts, ear canals, insect bites, along with the elimination/cleaning process. Most people would grossed out by this, but I bet some of you are opening a new tab and going to that website right now. For some people, it's satisfying watching that gunk come out of a zit when they pop it, whether it be the "silly string" white stuff, or the pus that rockets out and splatters on your bathroom mirror.

Here is one of the "classic" zit popping videos that isn't too horribly gross...

No, popping zits sounds absolutely disgusting.
The only thing I like about popping zits is that it makes me look better. That's it.
I do get satisfaction from popping a zit or watching one get popped. Fascinating stuff.

    it's natural, chimps groom each other in the jungle all the time-what's weird is that people think it's weird to do it. Obsessing over it is one thing but, finding satisfaction over it is another

    there is a safer way instead of poping.... lik, get cream or somtang. Geez!

    I don't know why but since I was little I've enjoyed messing with disgusting things. I always pick my significant others zits and blackheads and anything gross really. It's oddly fascinating and I don't know why but I enjoy it. I'm sick... I know.

    Zit free - My sister gave me the secret to no zits when I was in the 7th grade. No Zits and happily every after.


    OK, occasionally , like every two or three years I get a small one somewhere around my nose. But thats it.

    Enjoy your popping though, lol.

    One reason people get zits is from over cleaning their faces especially with glycerin products. Hand soaps are a big factor, strong for hands way way to strong for the face.

    People think they are getitng rid of zits by scrubbing, but they are really just damaging their skin. Stop scrubbing your face.

    The really small amount of dirt that lands on your face don't cause zits. If that was true all mechanics would have loads of zits.

    Soap = Zits.

    But I don't use soap, I use specific facewash.
    I guess what you eat makes an even bigger difference.

    But yes, eating right does make a difference. Did you know that lack of exercise also does?

    XD Same here. I barely wash mine unless it is visibly dirty or feels dingy. And I've never really had zits. And I'm 21.

    As long as popping it actually helps and doesn't make it look worse! I can't say I ever had a zit as big as the one on this video, but it must have been hurting this guy for a long time! It is gross - but awesome to see what came out of it! = P

    haha i know it seems weird and i used to look thru my hubbys head and pop zits like everyday but i havent in a while and i miss it haha
