POLICY CHANGE?? Why can't the block feature take a few minutes to activate, so when someone gets in their last shot, then blocks you, you can give yours right back to them? Crybabies are getting in the last word, and I'm sick of it, and them!

    Or at least have an option that you can send to SH showing they block you after attacking you so you can't reply and defend yourself. That way SH can put a 24 hour hold or something so they can't run and hide!

    What I would like is a box they would have to click saying why they blocked you also. I have been blocked by someone and for what reason I have no idea... but they loved all the raves I gave them.

    I have never blocked anyone, however; the small number of people who have blocked me are just plain rude and have no interest in any form of intelligent discussion. Some delete all of their rude comments immediately after blocking me so anyone reading the conversation thinks my comments are totally inappropriate, and not understandable. I think that when someone blocks a person the blocker should not be permitted to edit their comments also, fair is fair.

    What I generally try to do in those cases is to add a note to my last comment trying to explain what really happened and that the person blocked me and removed all of their really offensive comments. I have even had one nice fellow offer to come and kill me in person for disagreeing with him, now that is rude.

    I just asked someone to block me this morning. It's a first for me. I don't know how to do it, or I would do it myself. It was a comment that came out of nowhere and made me feel uncomfortable. So, if he blocks me for all eternity, it will suit me fine.

    Oh, so when someone blocks another, it should be allowed for that person to be able to bully just one last time? If someone is being blocked, that is usually because that person is a butthead to begin with. Bad Idea

    I block for Foul language, nasty attitude, repetitive ignorance, lies, evil person, etc... And I like it. And I would really not like the person to have more chance to cuss at me.

    I call those kind of people "Hit&Run; Cowards". They must be out in droves because
    it has happened to myself and another friend today on the same thread of a post
    and this is the third post I have seen focusing on the H&R-Cs.; I always say
    I am happy when that kind of twit blocks me because it also means he can't attack
    me anymore. If it is a really egregious attack, I might piggyback on a response
    close the the blocker and call him out........

    It might not work totally because people aren't always on line at the same time, but it would be better than nothing.

    Another choice would be that the "blockee" could erase the blocker's parting whinge if s/he wanted to.

    Seriously .. this has happened a few times to me as well (quite frankly -- it is quite cowardly of an act indeed .. and I don't descend down to their level of /filth/ .. )

    Good Idea ..

    I'd also suggest that the FLAG be also available with an additional point to tick ..
    One where you could FLAG a person for a CYBERATTACK That they post when they also EDIT their responses to attack you AFTER the block is put in place ..

    Don't care old enough and been around to much to realise you don't get into it with fanatics just ignore.

    Anyway my cat always gets the last word in.
