No. Holder and Obama are putting the saftey of our country at risk for political reasons. This is pure politics they want to put the last administration and the CIA on trial. They are using KSM to do this. KSM and his liberal left lawyers will subpeona secret documents and records that will get into the hands of our enemies and will be used to launch additional attacks against us. We want to be safe Obama, not have information freely given to enemies for your own political shennigans.

No, he should be tossed into a pen with two 600 bore hogs and when they eat this bastard video should be taken of the bores excreting him and the audio should say, "Ready to meet your 72 virgins sir".

I would say yes just for the sheer fact that he would probably be killed brutally by the inmates of an american prison.

But i would also say no because our tax dollars don't need to be wasted on this piece of shit for comfort and whatnot, and he shouldn't have access to a lawyer. Let him rot in GITMO or where ever he is now.

I think it's disgraceful that they are trying the 9/11 terrorists in a civilian trial. Oh, and did you know that they are no longer "terrorists," but they are "defendants"? Not only that, but although they have already confessed and requested to be executed, they are now planning to plead "not guilty," and their American lawyer admitted yesterday, live on CNN, that he would be pleased if they were freed. Since these "defendants" have decided to plead "not guilty," this puts the American government in an awkward position: Do they let these men walk free, or do they provide the top-secret evidence against them--evidence and information that would aid and abet our enemies? The whole idea of trying admitted terrorists in a civilian trial instead of a military tribunal is absurd, and although Obama could put a stop to this with one word, he is letting this circus go forward, despite the risk to national security. I am ashamed of my president, and I only hope the media will treat this event as the solemn occasion it is, and not use it as an excuse to drum up ratings, thumbing their noses at the families of the 9/11 victims' families in the process.

Especially as he specificaly asked to be tried there. I don't know what Holder is thinking but he seems to have about as much brains and common sense (there it is again) as the rest of the team.

KS Mohammed declared war on the US on Sept 11. He is not an American citizen. He doesn't like our country, he doesn't deserve our justice - and certainly not our tax money being spent on his defense. Let's try him the way the Muslim world would try a US citizen who plotted to kill tens of thousands of their "citizens."

So why has Obama's stand on MTC made a complete 180 since his statements as a Senator?

Buy putting these terrorist on trial in a civilian court Obama hopes to bash the Bush Administration and it's policies regarding captured terrorists. It will also open the door to CIA and other intelligence agency information that was obtained from these terrorists. Some of this information is important to our national security. Sounds like treason to me.

Good luck finding a jury of peers or anyone in the County that have not heard of 9/11 or Guantanamo. It will be a long time before that happens (if it ever will). He is also giving these Terrorists a platform to spew their hate. It will also make them heros to those in the Islamic/Terrorist world. This will drag on forever and remain a focus of the world media. So while the world is distracted by this what else will be going on?

I think we have wasted too much of our time with this murderer. We should have made him talk when we captured him, then killed him and thrown his body to the pigs. Had we done this, we wouldn't have to have this conversation.

It is being done for political reasons. Obama and Holder are both looking very poorly on this. The basis of american justice is you are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Obama and Holder have broken faith already with their statements that they believe he will be prosecuted and Obama saying he will be put to death. Immediately before a trial is held they have broken faith or prounounced bad faith on the basic premise of american justice. What a shame!

I say yes only because Judge Napolatino said that constitutionally he has to be. I believe in the military tribunals but the Judge gave a very convincing argument. My question is, if he is found innocent, will ICE be standing by to deport him? I don't want this creep running loose in America. Another question - What is wrong with Gitmo? It looks pretty accommodating to me.

And he should be tried on ground zero grounds in front of all of the families and NOT on TV. He should also have each finger cut off one day at a time and then on to his toes. Then his limbs and then to his skin.

What would a jury of his peers in the Islamic World do?
The Islamic punishment for intentional murder is the execution of the murderer. The most common method of execution, hangings. This is carried out by using an automotive telescoping crane to slowly hoist the condemned aloft in which the condemned is.. painfully and slowly strangled to death by the noose. This method can take 3–9 minutes to cause the condemned to lose consciousness. Death can take anywhere up to 45 minutes to occur in this method.http://en.wikipedia.or...
There the death penalty is the death penalty no reduction of sentences, no repeals that go on for years and years.

I almost like that meathod but only foe those that murder in quick fashion. This guy murdered people that suffered for days and some even weeks. I think he should be buried alive after his toes and feet are mutilated under a structure where he will suffer for weeks as did his victims.
