Still, as horrible as it sounds, living a life on support is horrifying. You see the body but the eyes have no light ... the soul is gone.
My best friend ... she was savagely raped. They had her on life support due to being beaten so severely. Her parents blamed me for the longest. When I visited her, her parents left the room out of disgust thinking it was my fault but not wanting to cause a scene. I was asked by the doctor if I was her boyfriend. We were far more than that - we were almost like brother & sister. The doctor said that she had been so brutally raped that her uterus was torn up. She would never even be able to carry a baby to term, much less get pregnant or enjoy sex. She also had a severe concussion which most likely would cause tremendous amounts of mental problems. Hospital staff kept me stocked with towels ... I cried my heart out for the 3 or so hours I was up there visiting, even skipping classes since I was in high school at the time.
The girl was eventually taken to a hospital 5 hrs away. Her parents pulled the plug on her life support. It was 6 months later that her parents called me to apologize. It was too late though. The girl was gone & her parents scapegoated me ... putting even more hurt on me even as I still hurt today remembering her.
Please pray for Roza. She got in a car wreck when a drunk driver hit her and now she's in the hospital on life support. She may die. The doctors don't know yet.

I'm crying again if I loose Roza I honestly might kill myself. That's how much I love her and how important she is to me.
