Please help....What's wrong with writing a romantic book?

Lately, I've been much into writing novels and stuff. I'm writing a romantic novel about a couple and how they go through a lot(It's much more than some silly break-up make-up story, though) In my 5th chapter, their relationship is taken to a whole new level. I've described ever single detail like, the couple kissing till they're out of breathe and the girl moving her hand through the guy's hair and stuff....What's wrong with it? I just want my novel to be detailed. My friend read that chapter and went like, "Eww! Since when did you start writing such stuff." I'm also scared of what my parent's reaction would be...What's wrong with it?

There's nothing wrong with writing any kind of book. It's a huge undertaking and I wish you every good thing. I used to read a lot of romance novels, not so much now, but I still like them.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT...GO for it....i make a tiny suggestion something that hasn't been around since the 60's and i bet would be marketable especially with the technology we have today.....find someone that is very good at graphics and do your romantic novel as a romantic GRAPHIC novel

IF that interest you I recommend THIS book (you can find it at your library OR get it VERY cheap used)

Key thing, remember plot, plot, plot.
A romance that relies on pages and pages of sexual detail wont be that good, like a horror with pages and pages of blood will end up being tedious
