So...discrimination is cool as long as it fits into certain criteria, such as being against English speakers?
If they said English speaking customers only, there would be hell to pay.
This is why English needs to be declared the official language. Anywhere else requires you to learn the language or have someone assist in translation...or at least use a translating dictionary. Here it seems a trend to expect the country to accommodate the other languages so they don't have to learn ours.

Hablas español? You're in luck. Pizza Patrón, a pizza chain headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is giving away 80,000 large pepperoni pizzas on June 5 to customers who order in Spanish. And not everybody is happy about it, USA Today reports.

"It seems to punish people who can't speak Spanish, and I resent that," Peter Thomas, chairman of the Conservative Caucus, which advocates English as the nation's spoken language, tells USA Today. "In public areas, people should be speaking English, and that includes pizza parlors."
But Andrew Gamm, brand director at Pizza Patrón, says the move is exactly what it appears to be -- a publicity stunt. And a smart one at that: 70 percent of Pizza Patrón's customer base is Spanish-speaking. "It makes perfect sense for us," Gamm tells the paper. "We're trying to make our bond with the Hispanic community stronger." We're not really sure what the big fuss is about... anyone can go on the Internet and figure out how to order a pizza in Spanish. Do you find the giveaway offensive?

Foul

I say it's fine, and I feel bad for them for how many free pizzas they will have to give away now that this story had blown up so big. (Somehow I don't think this would have been as big of a deal if they were asking people to speak Italian to get a free pizza, and that's not really any different.)
There is nothing stopping any English speaker from learning a simple phrase or two in Spanish except themselves. If I lived near one, I would totally go down there and order in Spanish. Why not? It sounds like it'd be fun.
People need to stop making such a big deal out of nothing, and stop making the simplest things into arguments about racism and politics. Neither really has to do with what the pizza parlor is doing.
lesson #1
una pizza con peperoni
you have to learn only two words
lesson #2
UNA y CON easy huh.?
i mean we can't call people black, but we can call eachother white? some places you can't say blackboard becaue it could "offend" a black person, put its ok to say whiteboard? give me a break! i long for the day where people (liberals) stop trying to make every word in our vocabulary discriminatory,
but there is an irony behind all these black, white and Hispanic crap......we have a black/white president, we have two candidates one wants a second term (that maybe won't win) the other.......the son of a Mexican that wants to become the new president......do you see the irony......?
plus, it's in dallas; considering it's so close to the border, the majority of people there probably know SOME spanish
it's not a big deal, really
like i said, this was probably all for fun
and i'm a white boy from LA; my spanish sounds gringo as hell, and the mexicans at the taco shop love laughing at me whenever i go out of my way to order stuff in spanish, but it doesn't bother me cuz i know my accent's horrendous, so we laugh about it and they give me my food.
i've never heard about anyone finding them adorable, so I'll say thank you on behalf of all the gringos out there :)
