Pubic hair doesn't look good on either gender. That's why I shave. Screw waxing.

So I guess the reason guys have beards is to protect their faces from microscopic wounds too huh.

Love war stories, this remind me of Camp Margarita and the battle of Pediculosis pubis, hard work with ointment and a close shave.

There is indeed a higher risk of infection and small damages to the skin might become troublesome. Waxing should be limited to the legs.

I think this is just someone frustrated that they can't get their "bush" under control, or is tired of trying, and so they are making up all this crap about how it's important to have and it can help prevent infections, blah blah blah.
Honestly, if you look at it from an evolutionary stand point, we don't need it, it was developed during a time when there was no underwear, or what there was was very course and abrasive, so pubic hair was necessary to protect the genitalia. Where our underwear today is soft, and fully covers, it's not, really, necessary, unless you live like Grizzly Adams. ;-)

It's so stressful, always worrying about what other people think. I don't give a damn if I don't shave, but everybody else does.

But anyhow.......I wasn't aware that there was a hair war. Interesting. My thought is, "let your conscience be your guide.." I'll keep mine to myself.

I have never had a bikini wax, nor do I plan on getting one. I do however like to keep myself neat and trimmed. My husband does also.

Agree to end any stupid war... I think people look good with or without hair, it's all the same anyway! I've never had a problem with hair or without hair, so why should anyone else?

I'm not exactly sure what I'm disagreeing or agreeing with, but maybe waxing is going to far, but very closely trimmed is much better to me. Maybe if oral sex wasn't involved it wouldn't matter, but I have a hair type phobia, Not in my mouth please. It can be a very sensual practice if you and your wife or partner trim each other. We've been doing this for at least 18 years, and neither one of us has had an infection, and it adds to our intimacy.

We have hair there for a purpose.. ever heard of it being a "dry lubricant"? I say, just trimming is fine.

It cushions, are you kidding me. What about when it's long and you move the wrong way and it gets pulled, that doesn't feel too good. One of the best things about women getting onboard with this is that men reciprocated by manscaping....win win.

I don't even know what the word "manscaping" means but it sounds like something I refuse to do.

Did you know: pubic hair is actually meant to be a natural lubricant. People who over-shave their pubic hair (men and women) have problems with chafing.
