If you think that killing an animal is murder then you are the one that lacks maturity. You think too much with your heart and have difficulty reasoning. I cited the LAW on what murder is...the taking of a HUMAN life, not the taking the life of a cow, etcetera. If killing an animal were murder, the jails would be crowded with over 99% of the U.S. population. What would you feed us? Tofu?

PETA seems like there in the wrong here. Whats with the name calling??? How do you expect us to take you seriously when you act like you're five? I highly doubt that any of the animals where alive when their fur was taken either.

Sometimes PETA takes it too far. That's all I am saying. If you disagree with what they are doing, go to them. You don't have to get out in public and call them out like that. Maybe if your meeting with them doesn't go to good, then you bring it to the media attention

I agree completely Raphy, often PETA takes it too far and much of their material is disingenuous if not outright fabrication. My response to you was prompted by the Iran reference, completely out of the context of the discussion at hand.

As a proud vegetarian, I support PETA in this case, even though I support the Humane Society.. Making things out of animal fur is wrong and pointless.

Actually fur is one reason humanity survived. We used that before linen. Hell I find nothing wrong with fur if the animal's death was swift and the meat does not go to waste.

The Olson twins and those who think that fur coats are great to wear, they should take a peek on how those creeps rip the flesh of those animals while they are still alive, only someone so evil would do such cruelty, how would Olson twins react if two sick criminal with the same creepy thought, grabs one of the Olson twins, and with a kitchen knife, starts ripping out the skin of one of those twin sisters, crabs needle and thread, and makes a coat out off her skin, and wears it while the other twin with her family watch the same cruelty and can't do nothing about it, how would they feel, i guarantee you that if that happens, they would think twice on wearing a fur coat ever again; they have go through the same pain to see how it feels.

Well, to start, there are sick people that actually do that, Hitler did it with the jews in a different way and with another purpose, or other sick guy called Leather Face from "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", and old wild tribes from South America and different countries; if you don't believe it? search the web. Nobody's trying to control their life... It's pointless to kill animals for something that can easily be duplicated by man.

If you're going to kill an animal for food, does it not make sense to use every part of the kill as possible? Otherwise the fur would just go in the garbage. So what is the difference?
